Alright, before the hate mail comes flying in (Scott Pilgrim fans can be a “spirited” bunch) let me make it clear that I do like the books. It’s not the greatest thing I’ve read, but it is a fun, lighthearted read, and that certainly has it’s place in the world. What I do want to point out to everyone is just how INSANE the plot is. Seriously, walk up to a random stranger who hasn’t heard of it and try to explain the story without getting funny looks. It can’t be done!
