Although there is certainly alot of excitement surrounding David E. Kelley’s upcoming “Wonder Woman” TV show, especially after the fantastic Adrianne Palicki has been given the role of Diana… but the below audition tape is a painful reminder that this could still suck. Really hard in fact. I think all of us comic fans are aware that for a Wonder Woman show to work on TV they were going to take some liberties with the character. However, after watching the audition tape by Tanit Phoenix… I’m now more terrified then ever.

Remember folks, just because it gets past the TV heads doesn’t mean it will be good, I think “The Cape” has proven that for us already. Again I know there will be some changes taken to make this show relevant for a mass audience, I just pray that the end result isn’t “Sex and the City” with superheros. After watching this monologue, complete with rant about her cup size (which many people believe to be actual lines taken from a script that is floating around the internet) I’m even MORE unsure about this show then I was. And that’s saying something.
