OK, I understand the appeal of trying to mix things up some. In fact, with long time staple Gail Simone moving on, now may be the time to let comic readers know that things are going in a new direction. But none of that excuses this new atrocity.

I mean seriously, who thought this was a good idea? Wonder Woman’s look is absolutely iconic. In fact I would wager that Diana’s look is the most recognizable female character in all of comics. So why change it? Especially since DC tried to mix things up with Wonder Woman before, the result of which has been considered one of the biggest mistakes in DC’s past. In case you don’t remember, take a gander at this.

Now how long this new look will last is still a question, but I can tell you now, it won’t last long. At least… I hope not.
