After only two episodes Robert Kirkman’s and AMC’s “The Walking Dead” is already breaking  cable records in the U.S. However “The Walking Dead” is not just a hit stateside, as it is making some huge waves over seas. This incredible fan support has prompted AMC to renew the series for it’s second season, just two week after it’s premiere.

The hundreds of thousands of viewers will be happy to know that “The Walking Dead” has been picked up for a full 13 episode run by AMC (the current order was for a much shorter 6 episode season).
