Nudity in a 1987 issue of the Spectre Prompts Parents of a 10 Year old to Call the News

It never ceases to amaze me the length at which some parents will go to find ways to be offended. Hell just recently parents found “sexual situations” in Bone. BONE of all things, I mean the freaking book is released by Scholastic! The publishing company for kids! But that’s not what this is about.

In Utah a parent recently contacted her local ABC new station to ask them to do something about the offense comic book her son got in a “goodie bag” at a local dollar store. Is this really news, not especially. But what is getting me is how quickly people still, after all of this time, assume that comics are just for kids.Personally I still don’t understand what is so offense about the human body, but that’s not  a debate I’m going to get into. Let me make it clear, there should be NO blame whatsoever placed at the feet of DC comics or anyone in the comic industry. This is simply an error of not caring, from whatever third world country packages the dollar store goodie bags. Below is the news broadcast.
