Nick Cave is Rewriting the Crow Revival

Musician Nick Cave is picking up his pen and setting out to rewrite Stephen Norrington’s screenplay for the movie remake of “The Crow.” The Crow of course is the incredibly dark and brooding avenging hero portrayed by Brandon Lee and Alex Proyas in the successful 90′s movies based on the comic by James O’ Barr.

Although most don’t think of Nick Cave outside of his music (which is a perfect fit for “The Crow” by the way), Cave has written screenplays for “Ghosts of the Civil Dead” and “The Proposition”.  Cave also wrote a sequel to the hit movie “Gladiator” which according to those who’ve read it, was down right remarkable. Very little else has been said about the project, although rumor has it a major Hollywood actor has been offered the role, what that really means, is up for interpretation.
