McFarlane and Gaiman are in Court… Again…

Prestigious author Neil Gaiman (most well known for his Sandman series) has returned to court against Todd McFarlane, over copyright issues to characters he helped create over twenty years ago in Spawn. In 2002, Gaiman won a lawsuit granting him respective royalties for the characters he co-created with McFarlane in 1992. Now, Gaiman is returning to court to see just how much money he is owed for current characters he claims are derivative of the characters he and McFarlane created for Medieval Spawn/ Dark Ages Spawn and Angela/ Tiffany/ Domina.
The case is not going directly to trial, instead there is an evidentiary hearing scheduled for June 14th.
