To celebrate the 1 year birthday of it’s hit comic, Irredeemable, BOOM! Studios has paired up with Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab to release a limited edition fragrance. The cologne will debut at the Irredeemable birthday bash at Challenger Comics in Chicago. I really don’t know what else to say about this… I mean…it’s comic cologne? Granted if there was ever a fan population that could benefit from a scent enhancing liquid, comic fans would be it…but still. The fragrance will release with the tag line; “Mark Waid Smells Evil”. an obvious tribute to the “Mark Waid is Evil” marketing campaign BOOM! used to promote the launch of Irredeemable one year ago. With a tag line like that, I know I can’t wait to get my hands on some ( I couldn’t possibly be more sarcastic there). Then again, it’s pretty obvious that BOOM! is pretty fun place to work.
