Could Eva Longoria-Parker be the Avenger’s Wasp?

Some pretty strong rumors are circulating that Eva Longoria-Parker will be filling out the latex as Janet in the upcoming “Avengers” movie. With filming set to begin on “Avengers” very soon, it has been reported that Eva has been invited back many times.

Eva read for the role and did camera tests some time ago, and the team behind the “Avengers” loved her so much in the role, that they had her do green screen work right then and there. Eva has said that she would love to do the role and in fact, her and Marvel could be entering negotiations any time now.

Fans of ABC’s “Desperate Housewives” could be interested to know that if Eva does sign on for this role, then she could be starring alongside former “Housewives” star Nathan Fillion, who is a personal favorite of director Joss Whedon. Fillion of course has been slated to play Ant-Man, the husband of the Wasp for months now and the speculation that he will eventually get the role is at a fevered pitch.

Personally I think Eva could be a great fit for the role and look damn good as the character, so here’s to hoping Marvel can get her to ink the dotted line.
